With far-sighted environmental engineering woven into the fabric of Grosvenor Place, the building has been effectively designed with multiple advantages for conserving energy.

Grosvenor Place has:

  • 6.0 star NABERS Waste Rating and have the third highest waste rating in Australia (as at December 2024)
  • 3.5 star NABERS Energy Rating
  • 3.5 star NABERS Water Rating

Rooftop Bees

Grosvenor Place is home to more than 60,000 honey producing bees. Creating sustainable environments for bees to flourish and continue their important pollination work benefits every living thing on earth – and our AWARD winning the honey is pretty delicious.

LED Lighting

Grosvenor Place uses Organic Response LED lighting through tenancies which can achieve a benchmark 4W/sqm. They are fitted with sensors in each fitting for comfort and energy efficiency, controlled via a free smartphone app.

Sunshades

A uniquely designed system of external shades is fixed with differing angles to intercept the changing angle of the sun’s rays around the tower. These external shades and the double glazed window units assist in reducing the demand for cooling in the tower. The external shades are also beneficial in eliminating sky glare and reducing the effect of heat.

Grosvenor Place has a 6 star NABERS Waste Rating. The building is ranked third nationally with an outstanding NABERS Certified Diversion Rate of 88%.

Solar Energy

Photo Voltaic cells are installed on the roof and in the parapet cutout feeding renewable energy into the building whenever the sun is shining.
